Hey, Bryan Singer, any chance you could ratchet back the gayness a tad on the new Superman. That would really be great. I realize this is in line with the “classic” look, but that came about when action movies hadn’t really advanced past the ‘bonk’. Superman should look like he’s about to kick ass, not strip at a secretary’s birthday party. I don't really know what he should be wearing instead, but if I were in a burning building and someone showed up in this, even if they flew in carrying a fire truck, it would still take me a minute to know if I was being rescued or seduced. God forbid he had to carry me somewhere dressed like this. I'd be there in his arms, my body completely rigid, straight as a board, trying not to make eye contact and making awkward conversation. “So, umm, you think the Saints might finally draft a corner this year.”

Brando, back from the grave

According to Latino Review, Marlon Brando will play the role of 'Jor-El' despite that fact he is dead. Brando will not be computer generated, instead the director, Singer plans to use stock footage of Brando, originally shot with Christopher Reeve for Superman 2. The scenes were not used because of a lawsuit filed by Mr Brando over his percentage of the first film's profits, as a response his scenes were removed from the second film. The scenes were re-shot using the mother (Susannah York) instead.

IMAX Corporation and Warner Bros Pictures today announced that Superman Returns will become the world's first live-action Hollywood feature to be converted from 2D to IMAX 3D. IMAX Corporation will use its proprietary 2D to 3D conversion technology to convert approximately 20 minutes of the film into An IMAX 3D Experience, the most immersive cinematic 3D in the world.

"Releasing select sequences in IMAX 3D marks a groundbreaking moment in movies," said Dan Fellman, President of Domestic Distribution at Warner Bros. Pictures. "This film is going to give fans an opportunity to be immersed in a major live-action motion picture like never before."
